The Chrysalis Nova Activ Bed is a hospital bed designed for patient comfort and care, featuring easy-to-clean and removable polypropylene head/foot boards and an ABS lying surface. 1 It offers safety with PP drop-down sideboards incorporating a control panel, available in two versions: an embedded panel providing adjustments for backrest, knee rest, hi-low, Trendelenburg/Reverse Trendelenburg, cardiac chair position, emergency CPR, and a lock button; and a digital panel adding lateral tilt, a weight measurement scale, and a bed exit alarm. 2 The bed is equipped with 12.5cm twin-wheel central locking castors, a safe working load of 250kg, and overall dimensions of 220.6(L) x 101.0(D) x 50.0-86.0(H) cm with a platform size of 190.0(L) x 84.0(D) cm
