Variflex

The operable acoustic partition system consists of 100mm thick, individually movable elements, suspended from a top track only. Each panel features top and bottom operable pressure seals activated automatically by a 24V DC motor, ensuring optimum contact pressure up to 800N. The elements are interconnected by a positive locking convex/concave aluminum profile, integrated with magnetic strips having a linear attraction of 40 N/m. Elements are constructed of a non-deflecting steel tube frame and aluminum profiles, bolted together. The frame is clad on either side with 16 mm MDF panels, hung in acoustic isolation from the frame and allowed to vibrate independently. The facia panels are easily removable. The panel interior is filled with high-density rock wool to meet specified sound insulation requirements. The telescopic element opens and closes 120 mm and is operated by a single mechanism for both the top and bottom seals.

The elements are interconnected by a positive locking concave/convex aluminum profile, integrated with a magnetic profile to ensure a contact pressure of 40N/m. Each element is suspended on multi-directional rollers. Elements are constructed of a non-deflecting steel tube frame and aluminum profiles, bolted together. The frame is clad on either side with 16mm MDF and 10mm MDF panels, hung in acoustic isolation from the frame and allowed to vibrate independently. The facia panels are easily removable. The panel is filled with high-density rock wool to meet the specified sound insulation requirements. The telescopic element opens and closes 170mm and is operated by a single mechanism for both the top and bottom seals. The system includes an R-type/smart track and an optional single-leaf pass door.
